Liz Brown is an interdisciplinary researcher and ex-teacher with a keen background in educational multimedia and quantitative methods. She has managed a wide variety of projects within the University of Nottingham and recently completed her PhD in the field of adaptive hypermedia. Liz has worked extensively with academics, students (at all levels of education) and local employers and is passionate about how we can use technology to support learning in the wider context.

She has several publications arising from her research and was awarded the Theodore Holm Nelson Prize for Best Newcomer Paper at the Eighteenth ACM Conference on Hypertext and Hypermedia (Hypertext 2007).
