Stefan Rennick Egglestone has been a research fellow in the Mixed Reality Laboratory at Nottingham University since 2003. He also has research experience at the Centre for Mobile Communications Research at Loughborough University, and commercial experience at the Bank of England. He is currently working on a number of research projects, including Motivating Mobility (a study of the use of computing technology in stroke rehabilitation) and Thrill (a study looking at the feasibility of developing new forms of fairground technology). He is also involved in a collaborative project investigating the use of computing technology within forest ecology. His previous research work has been orientated around both ubiquitous computing and scientific applications of computing, and he has published a number of papers in these domains. Stefan has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, an Open University qualification in Psychology, and a Diploma in Counselling from the Sherwood Institute of Psychotherapy.
