Patrick Healey is a Reader in Computer Science and a member of the Centre for Digital Music, a world-leading group in the field of Music & Audio Technology whose interests range from ecord/replay equipment in the home or studio, to the simulation and synthesis of instruments and voices, acoustic space simulation, music understanding, delivery and retrieval. His research addresses human computer interaction and multimodal interfaces. He has published widely in cognitive and computer science and was joint chair of HCI 2006.
